Inspired by the well-known Ramayana epic - the romantic battles between human Phra Ram (an incarnate of Phra Narai - Vishnu Indian God) and Tosakanth, the 10-faced and 20-armed demon king of Longka City for the beautiful young princess Sida. This picture is from the famous episode Hanuman pursues Benyakai. Hanuman, The Great Monkey, son of Phra Pai (God of Wind) and the maiden Sawah who later becomes chief soldier of Phra Ram, in this scene Hanuman proved the truth that Benyakai - the demoness - has transformed herself into a lifeless Sida to fool Phra Ram that Sida has died then he would retreat, the battle would end up and Tosakanth will marry Sida.
